Diary of a Weird and Wonderful Woman

Welcome! I am writing this blog for women who have ever felt different, misunderstood, or struggled to fit in.

Like many older women, I lived for years without knowing that autism, Asperger’s, or ADHD could explain why I experienced the world differently. Now I’m sharing my journey, stories, and discoveries in the hope that you’ll recognise a little of yourself here too.

My friends and family certainly think that I do and say unusual things. As a result, I often remain a mystery to them, leaving them scratching their heads. However, being weird isn’t necessarily a bad thing. After all, being weird doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. Instead, it may simply mean that you’re wonderfully unique – just like many other trailblazing women who came before us.
